Several provinces in the north and north-eastern Thailand have been affected by flooding in recent days after heavy rainfall last week. In Lamphun, neighboring province of Chiang Mai, the District of Li was declared a disaster area, houses, dams and bridges were destroyed, according to Thai television. An expressive voice has also been flooded, stranding tourists. In the neighboring province of Tak, a dozen villages have been isolated by the partial disruption of a bridge. In Lampang, the flood level began to decrease, but three villages still cut off. In the province of Kalasin, north-east, the level of the Chee River reached its critical level, as well as the Lam Pao Dam Dam.
