Sending a package from France to India

Posted by: admin In: China Tour Pacage

Hi, I’d like to send a package of about 4 to 5 kg to South India. This package contains gifts (clothes, small games …).
I think I’ll send collissimo (between 35 and 41 euros depending on size and weight of the package).

My questions are simple:
- The package has arrived safely they?
- Is that the recipient must pay packages of something (like tariffs)?

If someone has already done, can you give me information? Thank you and good evening!

Having sent many packages of various sizes to India by sending single or colissimo International, with or without acknowledgment, I would say that anything is possible packages “lost” packages partially emptied of its contents, parcel arrived safely open to the position of arrival and request for payment by content (due to a refusal to pay, a package came back several months later, sold out!) parcels delivered without payment …
Good luck!

hello,

I’m going to Pushkar 24 ocobre 2009 and in Sikkim, I love the mountains and camels, humps question probably.

I CHERHCE advice of sage advice thank you!!

Hello,

I spent three wonderful weeks in Sikkim last year and I was enchanted by this little known region. So I quietly preparing another stay in the region where I have made many friends.

What information are you looking for? I made two treks from Gangtok (west and north of the state) and I retain the fondest memories of my four months in India, even my whole life. I will gladly inform you the best of my modest knowledge. If you want to do one or treks, I can give you contact information for a friend with whom I am still in contact, and who owns an agency in Gangtok. Knows very well his native land and is nice as any …

Looking forward ..

Hi Hughes

Very good choice to go to Sikkim.
I spent 3 days this summer and is probably where I saw the most beautiful landscapes of my life.
I advise you to go to Gangtok, which is a haven of peace compared to Indian cities you’ll probably pass. It will be a good starting point to many things to do in this region, but it also allow to spend some time in a particular city where the blend of Tibetan, Nepalese, Indian and Chinese confers something very strange and is furthermore very welcoming and friendly (with a view of the 3rd summit of the world).

I made a trip to Tsomgo Lake which is located a few miles away, which is perched at 3700m in a small valley. The sublime road (which turned into a deluge on our return) is alone worth the trip to India, and once at the top does not hesitate to make a “mini-trek” in the surrounding peaks before d ‘ to eat the delicious cuisine of a restaurant Tibetan cyclic up (which has a toilet with the best view in the world lol).
You can predict what you program in one day is very relaxing and physical both. But attention in Sikkim needs a license for everything. Informs you with many agencies to move around Gangtok. There will always be to organize the day according to your needs at a ridiculous price.

In any case it is a great choice that you make to go in Sikkim. I went there almost by accident (I wanted to see darjeeling but bp policies that impede access and continued until this condition), but this little known destination is truly a magical journey that will put away open your eyes!

Bon Voyage

Wireless Internet and 3G networks in India

Posted by: admin In: India

Questions:

Hello everyone

New here. I leave alone for 3 months in India in December. Well, not quite as I take my laptop pc
with integrated wireless card. To this: no problem, I capture my home wireless network, in Mcdo, Office of
tourism, hotels etc. ..
What I want is a nationwide 3G style to capture where I silk, without having to get closer
an internet cafe or other places that emit wifi. For example, pick a corner, just in case I want
to be quiet at night in my guest house, or on the beach, just to undermine the morale me by visiting my space jobs
on anpe

Then there is ca? if so, how does it work in India is how much? should I buy a USB key that locks subscription?

Thank you.

Answers Reply:

Leave your laptop computer at home. There are cyber cafes at 10 or 20 roupettes (15cts/30cts) across time and internet access in many guest-houses. Your bag will be lighter, less fragile and you will avoid stress. And then in my humble opinion, there are so many other things to do real well in India rather than hurting the eyes on a virtual screen LCD. If you really can not do otherwise, carries a mobile wireless GPRS-3G-type E51 or Nokia E71, and buy a local SIM card. In the best case you can flipper on the site of the ANPE, the worst you can phone them and tell them they do not fail you. Bon voyage.

Ref: Shopping guide in Istanbul, buying smart in Istanbul, Discount go shopping in istanbul,,bargaining tips for tour in istabul. bargaining – Istanbul Travel Guide,Shopping in Istanbul, shopping tour in Istanbul

Just back from Istanbul, I decided to share with you the Details on how to bargain and negotiate in the Grand Bazaar Istanbul!

First, just say I spent 2 ½ days of my trip to the Grand Bazaar and I know what I mean. Prices give some things, but not all, since we have not bought everything.

IMPORTANT GENERAL ADVICE TO BUY

- To negotiate well the Grand Bazaar must be dressed informally or tacky (shorts, sandals, beard of one or two days, unkempt …). If you go with your late-model reflex camera with your pants tongs, your policy of stripes and your sunglasses by Dior, pay significantly more than other people.
The image you give it a sample of your purchasing power to them. You look up and down gently to see what you can get.

- This is vital. You must upload your offered price in the bargain. If you sell something for 200 and say that 100 must stand firm, no doubt and not climb. You can not waver, even if you say you lose money, that’s what it is costing q … blabla. All lies.
Your offer based on articles from more than EUR 50-100 should be 50% -60-70% of what you ask. But do not spend, because then the game will not start haggling.

- If you are young, will give you better prices than adult people over the bargaining process.

- It is best to buy early. They like to start the day with sales.

- Do not buy at the first site you find. Ask for a discount. Then ask for more discount. Finally, ask for their best price. Say: “I just got, I will look at other stores. I will not waste time.” You give me the best price and if so, I will come here to buy. If not, buy it anywhere else. In your hands is . please give me your card and your final price. ” (The while you go down the price, but you do not buy into that first shop porq no fees and only want to know your bearings. However, you will leave the store knowing the price that you should improve in the next shop where they sell the same)

- You have to smile, be communicative and be polite throughout the process. During the negotiation you can divert or convey your lack of interest the seller saying he has a nice store, has many products q, q I really like the Grand Bazaar … He will lower its price to get your attention.

- Sellers can lower its price in 3, 4 and up to 5 times. Never think you’ve arrived at the best price you can get.
You must maintain the feeling that you are asking for more than the others.

- You must never an effusive show interest in any products. All that shopping is not for you. They are gifts for relatives. And whenever you have questions about buying anything you do not know if they will like. This will push the seller to raise its bid and thus get off the price.

- Move the haggling over the edge. They do not get angry if there is no agreement or unwilling to continue lowering the price, I will tell you goodbye politely.
But you play with an advantage: you can always accept the final offer.

- They are driven by feelings and their day to day. They can refuse to sell you something for 120 € today despite earning money with that operation. Influential factors such as them and they will fall day.

- Be willing to go to the store (maximum sample Ordago and disinterest in a product) to make sure the seller if the price really is the lowest you could give. You must try this technique to convince you that it works very well.

- If you have purchased bags, vendors focus more attention on you because I see it as a potential buyer. This in essence is neither good nor bad. You can use it to your advantage by telling them you’re leaving the next day and already you have left little money. They will improve their offer.
For them is a challenge given q sell you something you’ve already bought someone before.

- A product of women (eg, a bag) is better than buying a man alone with the shopkeeper. He can say q is not for him and his real desiterés is always greater than can pretend a woman.
And vice versa. Although this is not always possible given the need to prove it.

- You can negotiate your price for several days. Sometimes they fall over, sometimes not.

SHOPPING BAGS (110-120 €)

First of all, there is a myth for these and other forums talking about bags of different qualities.
I want to clarify one important thing when you see a particular model of bag Prada, Miu Miu, Armani Girogio … All bags you see the same color and model in the Grand Bazaar are the same. And that’s the case. Nobody eats the head looking for different qualities within the same model because they find them. All bags are manufactured in the same place.

When you buy a counterfeit bag in the Grand Bazaar you’re buying a bag of quality because the skin there is really good.
You may counterfeiting achieved this better or worse, but the bag you buy will be good.

If you want to know if the forgery is good, you should look out mainly in the inner details of the bag: zipper, lined, metal letters branded bag embedded in the exterior of the bag, symmetry of the seams …

Ideally it is that before you go, you have an original bag in your hands and you look at their small details (inner lining, zippers under its own brands or not …), that the end of the day, are what make the difference between a good and a bad imitation.

For example, Hermes handbags were fake bad, look at its inner lining or letters silkscreened (thicker at the top to bottom for example, or the reverse) that you see when you open the flaps outside.

If you are interested in 2 bags of the same store. You must show both doubts initially, but to say that only want one because it is for a single gift.
The seller will say this I’ll leave it for 120, but if I let you buy two for 200 and so you have to make two gifts.
You must insist that only want one. Revert to download the price … etc

I could say that in the Grand Bazaar handbags (Prada, Miu Miu, Hermes …) can get by the best price 110-120 euros (in early September.’s 2,009).

BUYING PASHMINAS cotton and silk (approx € 5 each)

Technique: tired grocer

They ask me 25 lire.
I say to see if there discounts?
I go down to 20.
Ask to see if there is no discount?.
Download from here starts to cost … refuses to go down

I go to another store next door. It is the same.
I go to a further third, Idem.

So I say I want 2, then q 3 to see if I take q discount is available there. And if you pick 4? .. and if I take 5?. This technique blocks them enough because they break your patterns. They realize you’re not a nerd who can hesitate and give you their “best” price. You can still keep pushing.

Finally, you say, but how many you want?!. You say “it depends …”. “What’s your best price for 4?”. “Is my partner is looking at other shops around and just wants as many like me”
He will tell you its best price for 4 pashminas eg: 45 lire.
Q then you say OK. And when you say you pay to have 8 Lit loose and see if they can be 5 pashmina of 54 lire? … He exhausted and resigned for the deal.

In summary, at 100 yen q asked me what I got for 54.

SHOPPING FOR LACOSTE POLOS (7.5 € approx each)

Technique used: in the other tent unless you asked me the same thing.

This technique will fuck the whole bit of haggling and blocks them much. They go from being vendors to be dominated.

Consite on getting the best price you can in a store. You ask a pattern or color that does not have or do not exist. Having achieved the best price, you go to another store.
The new store will ask for the same price, you shocked when you give it because the previous seller did not have half your size he asked. Moreover, they can lie and say you still afrecían for less than it was telling you.
The new seller will accept risk if the fulminant downhill.
________________

BUYING LEATHERWEAR
Technique used: setting a limit

While our goal in the Grand Bazaar was not buying fur, we could not avoid ending up at a store specializing in such matters.

I must say that I really soprendió let the skin quality and designs I saw there.
I can assure that there are shops in the Grand Bazaar and so much more diversity in skin quality as the best clothes you can find at the Fifth Avenue in New York.

What happens in the Grand Bazaar is that there are factories that you are caught skin designs: Roberto Cavalli, Hermes, Dior, John Galliano … and we will replicate exactly the high quality furs. Impressive. There are “authentic” pieces on the catwalk in some stores.

If you are buying leather at the Grand Bazaar, buy it in July, August or September, you can get better prices if you go in January, as is evident.

A chain of shops or most surprising in the grand bazaar was the one with clothing brand best-Gian Mori leather (.) Com.

The clothing brand is Gian Mori, but have 5 or 6 shops with different names inside the bazaar. One of the store if q has the name of Gian Mori

Their quality and catalog is worth mentioning.

In this area as elsewhere, we must negotiate hard and fairly.
If you know the prices of here before you go, the better to negotiate better q there.
A hackneyed phrase is to tell the dealer: “It’s q for that price I can buy in my country!”

Tell a story of how we negotiate …

We entered the store, we say that type of clothing we want, we tested several, we Taren other clothing store …
Asking 800 euros for an otherwise call 550, the other 600 …
When he has brought several pieces q are being left around us and some of them we like, we say (no show interest in anything concrete) q garment actually is not for us and q are not sure of the size. So we want to spend only € 300, q teach us things for that price.

The seller will begin to draw other parts cheaper, but you say you’re not a q when takes several attempts, that 800 of the first q brought you is not bad, but understand claro q q q q is more expensive you can not buy it.
The will tell you to leave it for 600, 550, for 450 € …
Here it comes time to stand firm and say “sorry, but I really can not afford more q porq not for me and I have many doubts, can q color and size does not fit well.
The seller will try to raise your bid of 300, but you must not transfer or a euro in any way. Total firmness, but with humility and gentle voice. Giving much thanks for the discount that makes you, but encogiéndote q shoulders to tell you can not.
You start to go back to the store while maintaining the doubt in the seller with looks of uncertainty to your partner.
Your partner will make bad cop, saying no q, q best not to risk, you will do good cop saying q is a good gift, but doubts q by size and color not wild at all …

Finally, you’ll actually pledge of 60% -70% of initial price.

IRANIAN CAVIAR BUYING ON THE MARKET OF SPECIES.

The caviar is sold in many places and also you can bargain, but less so in the grand bazaar.
It is best to seek the best price in various places and say q q buy it in the best offer for you. So the price will get closer.
It is a quick process if you go and tell them what you do q. Compare and buy from the cheapest.

I got out the can of Beluga caviar Iranian brand of 200 g for 40 euros, initially asked me 60 €.

It is worth buying this product in the Spice Bazaar by the great price

Pd: tomorrow I will put prices and addresses of some shops where I bought

Eating in Istanbul

Posted by: admin In: Turkey

Questions:

Hello everyone, as the tourist and I have only looked jejeje gracias x all councils, x cierto, go to the recreation area … At Ortakoy I like to spend an afternoon, say q is pretty cool, I recomendais great site in particular (cafes, restaurants …) and idem for the same in Galata, you can eat under the bridge right? Any recommendations? And overall, if you know of some place to eat q advisable, as you agardeceria, if not so, I turned commentator on my own experience, a greeting and thanks!

Answers follow:

concerning the Galata area, if you can eat under the bridge, I dine there two nights and the same great, fresh fish and very good, AEDEMO is not expensive, you usually get a tray with all the variety of fish and you say that you (after you do that you say is another story … jiijij  ) But if you like fish pásate one day because he’s hot and eats very well at a great price, remember that there was a restaurant that had traditional Turkish musicians enlivening the evening went table by table you played a while and there was pay them at all
I also remember one that was specialized in seafood that was provided to the rafters with people  Galata called Noseque … is easy to see why the striking red and black walls and the owner is Spanish are very glad when he sees that his countrymen will  to invite us around skewers Gambon  and the truth that all staff very nice hope you like pásate

was dining at the restaurant “yildiz” which is below the Galata bridge and it was great.
We were 7 people and multi-course dinner of appetizers, and small fish buenisimo, bass and a fish marmara not remember the name. drank beer and Turkish raki. we started as, and nothing came pepes expensive.
There was music and the typical dancer belly dancing, lively
if you greet “sultan” and ask him to reserve one of the tables that overlook the sea. I hope have helped you, salu2

istanbul there are many fast food stalls (kebabs) that are not nothing special, because many sites will make normal bread! increible!! the best restaurants, especially fish meal be on the Galata Bridge, and if you go to dinner, the views are beautiful. fish are very fresh and very good and also baratisimo, for 30 euros you can eat perfectly 2 people!

I have special memories of the food was spicy. Grilled meats and fish, moussaka, salads, homemade yoghurts … Everything we ate very comfortable.

Turkish cuisine is not spicy at all, at least with the idea of ‘hot’ we have from other cuisines like Indian or Mexican, for example. The cuisine is Mediterranean, if you’ve ever been to a Greek restaurant as it is similar but more varied (the Greek has its roots in Turkish).

Of course, you will find combinations of foods you will be missed by not common in your diet, and you can taste more or less … but nothing spicy, I assure you.
